Q. Is Perth a safe city?

A. Australia is one of the safest countries in the world, and Perth is one of the safest cities in Australia.

 
Q. Can I combine English study with Volunteer or Work Experience Programs?

A. Yes, all of our programs and courses can be combined into a custom itinerary for you. Combining programs can be cheaper and save you money on visa application fees too!

 
Q. I want to work in a specialised area. Can you organise special programs or work experience for professional people?
A. Yes, we can arrange work experience in professional areas. These programs require previous study or experience to be eligible.
 
Q. What is the weather like in Perth?
A. Perth experiences good weather most of the year. We have more weather information here.
 
Q. I'm interested in migrating to Australia permanently. Can you provide assistance?
A. Yes, we have a licensed migration agent specialising in all types of migration to Australia. Please contact our migration agent for more information.
 
Q. Are your English Private Tutors qualified or experienced?
A. Yes, all of our tutors are native English speakers, experienced and qualified. Help can be given for any purpose including conversation practice, exam preparation, IELTS preparation, daily living, etc.
 
Q. I want to go to university or college in Australia but my English is not good. How can I go?
A. You may need to study General English and/or do an English Bridging Course first. The duration would depend on your current English level. Please contact our career counsellors to get advice for your situation and goals. Also, processing all your enrolments together can save you money on visa application fees.
 
Q. Can you help place my son into high school in Australia? He is 14 years old.
A. Yes, we cater for younger students. We can place into private and public schools including Kindergartens, Primary Schools, High Schools and Senior High Schools. We can also arrange a Legal Guardian and Homestay if required, as well as a Support Service, Study Tours and School Inspection Tours for parents.
 
Q. Is it easy to find work in Perth?
A. It would depend on your English ability and type of work you want. If you are willing to do any type of work you should be able to find something, and there will be more opportunities if you have good English. We can find employment for you and assist you with making an English resume. Don't forget to be able to work in Australia, you will need a working holiday visa, or student visa with work permission.
 
Q. Are there many places I can use the Internet in Perth?
A. Perth has many internet cafes which are usually $3 - $4 per hour. Our office has a small internet cafe with multi-language facilities which is FREE for our members, and network connections to connect your own laptop computer to the internet.
 
Q. Can I use my Korean laptop computer in Australia?
A. Yes, however, Australia uses 240v power so you will need to check that your computer is compatible, OR you can buy a step-down power converter to use any Korean or Japanese electrical item in Australia.
 
Q. Which of your programs is the most popular?
A. We have many popular programs, but the most popular are our Dolphin Volunteer and Dolphin Therapy programs. It is also increasingly popular to combine these programs with part-time or full time English study.
 
Q. I'm Japanese and I would like to know which English schools have less Japanese students.
A. That information changes regularly so it would depend on when you are coming to Perth. Please contact our career counsellors with your plans and we can research the details for you.
 
Q. Is it expensive to phone overseas from Australia?
A. It can be, however we recommend the use of pre-paid international calling cards which are definitely the cheapest option. These cards can be bought from our Perth city office.
 
Q. Can I  go to Australia with my friend and stay at the same homestay?
A. Yes, that is possible. Many of our homestay families have two rooms, or sometimes a twin room is available at a cheaper price than 2 rooms.
